Centre of Excellence in AI was created in January 2019 with the Vision to ensure that India is not a passive participant and user of AI based technologies developed elsewhere, but is positioned to actively influence AI development path. Objective is ‘Inclusive AI’. The primary goal of setting up COE-AI is to give impetus to the use of AI Technologies to improve service delivery to citizens by improving eGovernance in various key sectors of Government Initiatives. This Centre plans to work closely with various ministries and government departments to promote innovation in applications of AI to take e-governance services to the next level.

It is also providing services such as Multilingual Chatbots, Bilingual Voice based Support, Face Verification API services and other custom models etc.. to many Central & State Govt. Projects.
